Friday Cocktail – Peppermint Froth
I first had this drink when I went to dinner at a bar that Dude and I used to go to lunch (way back when we worked together). I liked it so much I had two. 😉
After the second one arrived, I took this picture and of course I had to make a fancy frame for it. (forgive me… I was enjoying a wonderful evening with Hubby.
I jotted down the ingredients and decided I would attempt my own version.
Cast of Characters: Grenadine, Frangelico (hazelnut liqueur), peppermint schnapps, vodka, cream (didn’t have cream so for my remake I used milk)
For my remake, I put a jigger and a half of vodka and a jigger schnapps. All I had is Rumple Minze which is strong (100 Proof) so I only put half a jigger. Add a splash of Frangelico and cream. Shake until frothy and then added a drizzle of Grenadine. Mine was pinker, but who cares… guess I didn’t get my drizzle right. Oh well; it was still YUMMY! 😀

This sounds so good, an interesting combination of flavors! I like it pinker, it looks more like a peppermint candy cane, and I love the glass you have it in. Very festive! I’m pinning on Pinterest!
Hi Jules! I LOVE this drink! How about you fix one and I’ll fix one and we can have a drink “together” with you in Arizona and me in Oregon! 😉
