Here I sit typing on my iPhone with one usable thumb waiting … wishing i was at home. Waiting for the bleeding to stop. Yep…bleeding.
I’m at the ER waiting to get my other thumb looked at. I was slicing apples for a Blueberry, Apple and Rhubarb Crisp and missed! Oooops!!! (good thing I took pictures while making it over the weekend so I can share the awesome yumminess – I hadn’t planned on the trip to ER tonight.)
Ugh!!!!

Yes, I cut my thumb tip last night. Another 1/8-1/4 inch and it would have been sliced off.
Yes, I made the recipe last Saturday. Took lots of pictures for a In the Kitchen post, but didn’t get it posted yet. We loved it so I was making it again last night… and well… had a little problem…
And one thing I noticed and no big deal but your posts don’t have times on them. Not that it matters
By default the WordPress theme I’m currently using (Twenty Ten) doesn’t show the time. I did some research and found how to include it. (http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/no-time-stamp-on-twenty-ten)
I updated the settings to include time, but may take that away later – unless I post multiple times in a day in the same category (which seems to be the case with the Life category). Also, you can see the reverse order I post things by the Recent Posts list in the sidebar.
Well I just happened upon your blog but have to say – OH i hear you on this! Cut the top of a finger off pretty much doing this kind of thing and OH it hurts and OH it bleeds and wow, I feel for you!

Hi Tracy, thanks for stopping by! I don’t normally cut my finger tips nearly off while preparing dessert. Hubby says he’s going to take all the knives away after 7:30pm! LOL!
