Went spent Thanksgiving with Hubby’s parents and sister. While visiting we saw a young deer walking through their front yard.
He was hungry…
Uh oh… he caught me looking at him. I froze in my place…
He was there for nearly 30 minutes.

He didn’t seem to mind when I started moving….
He came closer…
He heard a car door slam a few houses down…
He decided he’d had enough pictures taken and proceeded up next to the house where he could have his privacy.

He looks young. I wonder where his Mama was???
We never saw his mama. He was there for at least 30 minutes. It was really cool. Mum said she was glad “the girls” weren’t there or he’d been scared away from the barking.

We didn’t have any unusal guests here over Thanksgiving, just the same-old animals, dogs, snakes, a fish and the monkeys (my fam) lol!

A lot of hunters will start making noises around and do things where the deer congregate so that the deer get used to them and don’t shy away… so he might have been used to his surroundings.
Mum and Dad said they often see deer in their yard, so I bet he was used to the area.
