It’s like the sign I once saw in a store in Gladstone, MO that read somewhat like:
“We will accept your check, but if it bounces we will post it and the photo we just took of you on our walls and windows.”
All around the sign were accompanying kept promises – MANY checks and photos. An effective deterrent and entertaining reading while waiting at the counter.
I’ve seen those at other places, too. I wonder how much of a deterrent it is. I hope a big one.
