Homemade Vanilla After Seven Weeks
If you recall, back in October I wrote about making Homemade Vanilla. I had full intentions on posting weekly updates. As you have surmised, I didn’t get that done.
Remember Day One?
Here is after a week. It’s much darker than on Day One…
…and after seven weeks you can see it has gotten darker…
If you look closely, after I gently shook the bottle, you can see the floating vanilla caviar.
I bought some labels at Office Depot and created a front and back label…
Then I finished the bottle off with some ribbon I found at Michaels.
It was a fun project. Not a ton of work and turned out really well.
Did you try making your own vanilla? How did yours turn out?
Totally FUN, AND practical. You can’t beat that.
I’m working on my second batch. i actually made the second batch right in the vodka bottle itself 🙂 I just did conversions to get the right amount 🙂
