Friday Cocktail – Pisa Liqueur

I’ve had a couple of Friday Cocktails which use Frangelico hazelnut liqueur. I also LOVE amaretto which is an almond liqueur… like seriously LOVE it! I even have nonalcoholic amaretto flavored coffee syrup.

When I stopped at the liquor store to buy more amaretto they had a sampling of Pisa Liqueur. Pisa is a delightful combination of hazelnut, almond and pistachio flavors which comes in a uniquely shaped bottle, as you can see, one that resembles the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

I really am not sure I taste the pistachio… I don’t know if I’ve ever had pistachios… well, enough that I know the flavor… unlike almonds (amaretto). I can taste the amaretto.

I’ve had Pisa “neat” and “on the rocks”. I prefer it on the rocks, but occasionally have it neat. Either way, it is quite tasty!

Have you had Pisa yet? Sounds good, eh? I totally recommend rushing out to get it right now.
