Friday Cocktail – Nuts and Berries

_Yes, I know it’s Saturday, but I wrote this on Friday and forgot to post it.

I have had several Friday Cocktails which have used vodka or other “hard” liquor. Today I decided I wanted something less strong. My Peppermint Froth recipe has been quite popular on Pinterest so I thought I would make another cocktail using Frangelico. I’m sure Juile from A Little Bite of Life will be happy as I know she loves Frangelico.

Cast of Characters: Half-and-Half, Chambord (raspberry liqueur) and Frangelico (hazelnut liqueur)

To a frosted old fashioned glass, add a jigger of Frangelico (or other hazelnut liqueur)…

Next, slowly pour the Half-and-Half to fill glass…

Next, gently stir…

…and enjoy…

The nuttiness of the Frangelico mixed with Chambord’s raspberry flavor makes this a perfect after dinner drink.

Do you have a favorite Chambord or Frangelico recipe?
