Finally!

As I mentioned on Friday’s Out for Delivery post, I was anxiously waiting for my iPad

I didn’t want to go anywhere to get my iPad, I waited “not so patiently” for FedEx to show up on Friday. The FedEx delivery arrived hours later than they usually show up. The driver looked frazzled and I said, “Rough day?” To which he replied, “It’s Christmas all over in the wrong season.” He was so right… I couldn’t wait for him to get there. Not having either of the first two generations I was quite anxious. My AppleTV arrives on Wednesday. It’s Christmas again this week. Poor guy!

I was seriously so excited. I did manage to take pics while opening it…

I am quite impressed that Apple has moved to recyclable packaging… no styrofoam…

Underneath the iPad are the mini-power cube and another little box with cardboard tab…

…lifting out the little cardboard box one finds another hidden compartment..

The mini-power cube is so cute… it’s about 1.75×1.75×1 inch..

Later in the day, I started setting up my email and copying all the apps, music and movies… I bought the 64GB one so I have plenty of room. Can’t wait to see what it can do.
