Did you have a safe and fun New Yearâs Eve? The Offspring went to a friendâs house and they watched movies and ate Popcorn Cake.
Hubby and I stayed home and played a Acey-Ducey (backgammon game) and watched New Yearâs Eve on cable. I hadnât seen the movie before and Hubby said that he liked it. Iâm glad we did. I really enjoyed it.
Our timing was nearly perfect⌠when the Times Square ball was dropping in real life (OK, tape delayed for us here on the West Coast), it was just about to drop in the movie! Not sure if Hubby planned it that way but it was really cool for me. đ
I had suggested playing âstripâ Acey-Ducey â so that you have to take a piece of clothing off when your checker gets bumped, but Hubby said it was too cold⌠We were watching it in his âman caveâ and he was right⌠it was cold. So, after I took my socks off I gave up and put them back on⌠he didnât even try! LOL!
Hubby requested my Pineapple Candy drinkâŚ
For me, I fixed the drink I mentioned in my Friday Cocktail â End of a Crappy Day post.
I really need to come up with a name for that drink. Any suggestions? The ingredients are:
Peach Schnapps
Pineapple Infused Vodka
Malibu (coconut) Rum
Cointreau (Triple Sec â orange flavored liqueur)
Citrus Infused Vodka
Pineapple Juice
Besides a drink name suggestion, please tell me what did you do for New Yearâs Eve?
